Quick clip of the rally and rhetoric amid a fair wage fight that still struggles against legislative roadblocks. Take a look:
Watch as U.S. Rep. Emanuel Cleaver gets fired up at Fight For $15 rally
Fast food workers, many of who were on strike for the day, joined Labor Day protesters in Kansas City in 'Fight for $15 and a Union' rally at 33rd Street and Southwest Trafficway before marching to McDonald's, 3255 Main Street.
I hate this man's guts!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd for the life of me I don't know how n the hell he gets re-elected time and time again. He's never seen east of the stadiums and south of Bannister Rd. I have family in Richmond, a town in his district. He's the invisible man there, many don't think he even knows where it is. Same thing goes for Lexington and Marshall.
Screw this man.
Hey Cleaver, do you pay your carwash or church employees $15 an hour?
ReplyDeleteCleaver is all talk. .He gets people fired up for about 2 minutes. .And he goes back to Washington. And Does nothing about a Living Wage. Americans, are the hardest working people on the planet and the most productive .
ReplyDeleteSmall frog in a big pond. No real power or influence. Totally useless.
ReplyDeleteAnd he's a coon
ReplyDelete100 plus murders in his district, and he shows up for this ?! He is a waste of a good set of ears.
ReplyDeleteThe dead don't vote.
ReplyDeleteHe sounds just like aunt Esther
ReplyDeleteReally cleaver..... Who did you pay $15.00nan hour. Don't you owe us all money?
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteyes...I know...all all the preceding true...but...where can a guy get a good car wash....
I bet Cleaver didn't tell the protesters that his income is over $200,000 a year.
ReplyDeleteCongressman Cleaver, do we need to obtain your state employment tax records to show what a lying fucking hypocrite you are? I got a C note that says you aren't paying $15.00 and hour at the car wash or providing your employees with health insurance coverage. In fact I would gander that you have tried to weasel Federal funds and grants for minorities in order to keep your business running. Anyone want to bet?
ReplyDeleteI bet your dead on the money 12:24
