  5. The minimum wage vote is surely illegal

    ReplyDelete
  6. The sad truth is that with a $15 minimum wage, we need a street car to transport all of the working poor to their new jobs outside of Kansas City.

  11. I think the Yes on #1 , is a referendum on the SlyDog and Barstool Jolie love affair with City Hall corruption, and Gerrymandering elections .
Both of their future political careers are D.O.A
TIME TO CLEAN HOUSE @ CITY HALL
THIS TIME , DON'T FORGET TO DOUBLE FLUSH

  12. When there are fair, city votes, we find the results are 2 - 0 in favor of no streetcar. The streetcar only wins when there is rigged voting. Hopefully this time City Hall will respond to the will of the people and not waste money fighting in court.

  13. City Hall should now know how the entire City feels about tax payer funding of an amusement ride.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hopefully city hall will listen to the will of the people instead of trying to fight it in court.

  15. White streetcar elitists lost big time. The vote for increasing the minimum wage brought out the people who could give a flying f**k about the elitist streetcar.

  16. Clay County Youth Services question has passed by slim margin. Proponents complied with all Missouri Campaign Financing State Statutes and ran an open campaign of public information. Opponents ran an organized stealth campaign without any public disclosure. Opponents claimed that sales tax funds would be misused and misdirected. Corruption was implied by opponents who apparently have violated Missouri Campaign Financing Laws.

Clay County's most famous resident, Jesse James, turns over in his grave that a fraudulent campaign is conducted to deny homeless and needy children compassionate services.

  20. @seanot 10:49. You mean every hotel, restaurant, and retail shop in all of Kansas City will leave? Highly doubtful.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hell @seanot 10:49. Will every jail in Kansas City close down too? How about car washes, mechanic shops, flower shops. You mean to tell me every business in Kansas City will leave with a $15 minimum wage? Doubt it.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Who is this crazy clown?

He makes some good points and he makes me laugh.

I like the cut of his jib!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Haha the streetcar proponents are hanging on a hope that courts will rule Question 1 "Unconstitutional" and even Sly James himself is claiming that.

It will most certainly be challenged in court and I'm not convinced that the $1000 a day fine will stand muster (I'm not even entirely sure how the city fines itself and who they would pay the fines to with our tax dollars)

But certainly a citizen led petition that demanded a layer of accountability and oversight for the current process that allows for multi-step notarized mail in ballots in a gerrymandered district will be upheld in court.

Citywide elections for all future streetcar expansion (until the next mayor and council are elected and they vote to repeal that ordinance)

Anyway, I guess the streetcar folks can ask Trump if they can have some TIGER grant money. Haha

  25. This won't stop lyin crooked sLIE, he'll just pass some b.s. Ordinance that eliminates voting and allows him to decide what's best for his pocketbook, I mean the city

    ReplyDelete
  26. @11:35 Yes, Clay County Prop 1 passed by a "slim" (61 votes out of 11,000) margin. Will you now stop your lies about this having been an "Open" Campaign and give the Clay County Taxpayers some clue as to where the monies raised by this "Slush Fund" are going to go, whether any of the funds will actually be spent on the "children" (i.e. teenaged druggies) in the County, and how this is not just a duplication of already existing and tax-funded Services? Or is this just going to be another of those little mysteries that the Liberty Mafia is so fond of? Oh, and one more request, since you've won by such an overwhelming margin, can you somehow find the grace to stop slandering the grassroots opponents that tries to rein in this boondoggle? Based on past performances, I think we can all guess your answers, can't we?

    ReplyDelete
  27. 6:20. Who conducted your extensive "grass roots" campaign and how much money was spent? Have you heard of Missouri Campaign Financing Laws? Now is the time for you to come forward and demand a re-count; and explain how all the effort and money that was spent for your campaign of public awareness should have resulted in a victory for you and your developer friends. Your client developer friends no longer control Clay County. Your resentment and opposition to any other group or organization that attempts to help needy children is noted. Your continuing effort to cause dissension and trouble in the County is also noted. More and more Citizen/Taxpayers are becoming aware of your purpose to control the County for the benefit of your developer clients. I hope no member of your family is ever in need of children's services.
