TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! TEACHERS ANGERED BY WEBSITE DRAMA IMPACTING KANSAS CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS!!!
As of this writing, the KCPS website is down as busy teachers prep for students going back to school.
The notice on the website is exceptionally troubling . . .
KCPS officials are denying their common Internets mistake but here's the word from insiders . . .
It is the busiest and maybe the most important week of the school year, and KCPS has failed to pay the yearly $10.00 to keep its domain name. Teachers relying on emails to know what meetings are scheduled are all in the dark!!!!!
Looks like someone else can purchase (or may already have) the domain name and demand a "ransom" to sell it back!
The domain expired recently and right now the ownership is being kept secret. Usually, there's an extended grace period for expired domains . . . Hopefully, KCPS got it back or redirect to a new domain and get back up and running soon as parents, teachers and students increasingly rely on the website as a resource for more extensive info or as a compliment to what's available on social media.
