- Sadly, she led a citizens anti-violence committee that was totally ineffective and widely regarded as a bad joke.

She want's to destroy our airports, including the downtown airport and replace KCI with a much small airport that will be a mess, just like the crime commission she chaired. She will eventually attempt to bypass the voters on the new KCI to placate her Burns &n McDonnell pals. She is for herself and not for the voters of KCMO.. A true LIBTURTD!!
ReplyDeleteWhen the City Council sliced and diced the 4th district to include a small chunk North of the River with a public vote, I lost all hope of ever getting anything done up here. Justus can be the first left-handed, brown-eyed Mayoral candidate for all I care. She will NOT be getting my vote. Useless as a 5-legged horse. Northlanders, Secede Now.

ReplyDeleteAnd, when the media interviews her, don't they now have to give equal time to her opponents?
This is why most times, candidates do not file early. And why news stations, once alerted, hate to interview them, because in their pathetic little 45 second news pieces, they don't have time for an oppo comment.

So far Crazy Clown makes the most sense I have seen from someone wanting to get elected and serve at 12th and Oak for a long time.

ReplyDeleteSo, so far, out of a population of 474,000, the best mayoral candidates KCMO can come up with are Reed, Justus, Wagner, and Taylor.

There are FAR more qualified and capable elected officials in many of the other 114 municipalities in the metro, ALL of which have smaller populations.
Given what's been going on for decades, it's hard to imagine, but the public gene pool in KCMO is getting smaller every year.

ReplyDeleteOnce I mentioned to Jolie that a friend of mine had been in an accident caused by a distracted driver on a cell phone. (It cost him a lot of money.) I said the state should do something to outlaw cell phone use while driving.

So the entire state has to be at risk when driving because of... Realtors???
She lost my vote for anything that day.

ReplyDeleteI couldn't stand Funkhouser but at least he was against just about everything S'lie and his cronies stand for now and wasn't about wasting and abusing tax payer dollars. Say what you will but Funk at least was for the lower and middle class from a financial standpoint and not all about bending over for the rich and powerful of the city.
