"James and others suspect killings in Kansas City continue to have much to do with decades-old, entrenched racism, poverty, the lack of education and jobs in the urban core" everything he has ignored his entire time in office, I love the fact that he played the racism card first thing, standard language to blame whitey for all their problems. Poverty is only going to get worse when he bankrupts the city. What can you say about kcmo school district, not enough time or room to write about that catastrophe. That leaves jobs in the hood, really, who wants to own a business in the hood where you get robbed, broken Into on a weekly basis no business can afford the sky high insurance costs of operating there but then again those people don't want to work anyway
