BREAKING!!! SURVIVE THE KANSAS CITY AUGUST 2017 FLASH FLOOD PLAYLIST!!!

Brief contemplation of the Kansas City rain FLOOD tonight . . . Nothing too deep because all of the fun people are doing more interesting things than reading blogs tonight . . . Many folks are simply treading water and trying to survive.

However, this evening's repeated deluge that could cause flooding brings to mind a few things . . .

Kansas City corporations make it rain at the cost of taxpayers with nothing more than hype, sketches and easily purchased local government cooperation. The rain is, thankfully, washing the blood from local streets as our murder count still stand 40% above last year. Finally, as always, even light rain highlights our backed up and neglected water infrastructure which needs BILLIONS in repair and remains the root cause of so much flooding that puts residents at risk.
