Of Monumental Importance

A few months ago Chris Dixon, who drives on Ward Parkway every week with his family to go to church, sat at a stoplight. Dixon looked over and noticed something on the median where Ward Parkway meets W. 55th Street. He saw it was a monument dedicated to the women of the Confederacy.

  1. Nice map of these horrifyingly dangerous and destructive monuments. Thank God such profound threats to public safety have been identified.

How about a crime map, or would that be too microaggressive and stigmatizing?

  2. Chris Dixon doesn't even know what it's for but yet wanted it removed, what a worthless piece of shit

  3. In the meantime crime goes through the roof I guess the monuments are to blame.

If people think a chunk of rock is going to change anything, then someone needs to smack them up aside the head with a rock hoping it jars some clear thinking into their pea size brains.
A Colt 44 by it self won't kill anyone. That same Colt 44 can be a useful tool for any local Sheriff or deputy in controlling crime. But that same Colt 44 in the hands of a bad person using it to kill, hurt and illegal control people isn't a reflection of the gun but of the person using it wrongly. A Colt 44 would never willing side on the dark side if it was able to.
Pushing any current violence or any race issue as being caused or was in the past caused by an in inanimate object is like saying Billy the Kid was a good church going boy whose gun took over his brain and made him a bad boy. That would be the stupidest excuse one could ever make or give. It's a cop out plain as day.

  6. Well, the Black Veterans Memorial definitely has to go. It states that it honors black veterans throughout the history of America, and there were definitely black veterans who fought FOR the south during the civil war, so what's fair for the goose is fair for the gander.
