  3. KCPD Paid a consultant to tell them what time it is.

Here's a freebie ... crime is on the rise.

  4. 30-40 officers should be added to patrol immediately.

  5. Take back the 400 officers from Nova

  6. So they only add 12 cops per shift? That's 36 altogether for one day

  7. My bad, I read it wrong they only want to add two officers and have one officer only in the all cars. I'm guessing that makes twelve cars per district per shift instead of ten. 6 extra officers per day. #sad

  8. My guess is them being so top heavy and having the highest payroll they're trying to keep all the highest paid personnel to bleed the taxpayers dry. When you have that kind of power you can control the budget and with no city oversite who's going to stop them

  14. We have to vote no on Earnings tax in 4 years. We have that much time to build a coalition against the tax. I would vote for the tax IF it were used for police, but it isn't.

  15. Consultants for the police department, consultants for the jail, consultants for the water department... what do the people we PAY to run these concerns actually do? Can't we run our own institutions?

  16. They should contract PD services out to a corporation. We already know no one in government can run KCPD effectively.
