  1. OPINION POLL QUESTION ??

How many TONY KC Readers lost Electricity Monday during the Storms ??

Reports in East Kansas City Missouri near the Arrowhead Sports complex that hundreds were without power

    Because of Storms ???????

What KCMO didn't have Storms back in the 1990's??????

    Electricity stayed on then !!!!

What there weren't Storms back in the early 2000's years ?????

Electricity stayed on then too !!!

    Weren't there Storms back in the 1980's & 1970's ?????

The Slightest little Thunder Storm pops up and spits Bird Shit and KCMO Residents are losing their Electrical Power

Because KCP&L can't keep something up & running.

Don't forget that come time for KCP&L wanting yet "another" RATE HIKE to raise YOUR Electric Bills, yet again !!!

To Date KCP&L has had over 13 RATE HIKES since 2005 in KCMO !!!

Also don't forget who once sit on the KCMO City Council,, Cindi Sucko' or whatever her name was !!!

  5. I remember the 1977 Plaza Flood. We had 3 women staying at our house in north Leawood because of the flash flooding, and a family of 4 was killed on Lee Blvd. when the water rose over the road. PLEASE, PLEAE, PLEAE do not drive through standing water. Today was trash day, and the can was still at the curb waiting for our son to bring it in. The flood caught it, floated it down the street, and deposited it into the overflowing creek. We can get another trash can, but human beings cannot be replaced. If you cannot STAY HOME, be careful.
I called the police, but by the time they got here, they thought I was a crazy woman because the water had receded. But now it is raining again, and I fear for the idiots who are out there driving. Everybody, be careful out there.
