Death investigation underway near College and E. 51st after body found along tree line

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police are investigating after a body was found near College Avenue and East 51st Street Friday. It was around 9:30 a.m. when a passerby noticed the body along a tree line and called police. Police have not released the victim's identity and say the cause of death is still under investigation.

  11. in todays society we over look alot of things that we shouldnt. when we are in need of help we are afraid to even call the police to help because they hurt more than they help. if u call to report someone getting hurt they want to arrest you for a traffic warrant or some stupid crap like that. so if the police would focus on our safty and not our speeding tickets maybe there wouldnt be so many people getting killed.

  12. Drugs of course, what a disgrace, so sick of all the murders, I loved KC for 53 yrs, now ashamed of it. Same old areas, same old problems that existed when I was a teen. So pathetic that is has escalated and continued after all these years:(((((((((((((((((((
    So fortunate to live outside of KC, I worked very hard and raised excellent young men ALL BY MYSELF. God is good
