A ballot by way of a judge's order despite a recent vote mandate for a full stop to this sketchy process . . . If streetcar critics were smart they would run their own candidate. Take a look:
Kansas City streetcar board election set for Oct. 7, a Saturday
A judge has ordered another election in the proposed Kansas City streetcar expansion process, and it's another unusual situation. This time an election will be held on a Saturday, Oct. 7. Jackson County Circuit Judge J.
Corporate fixers with vested interests not exactly independent pillars of judgement
ReplyDeleteDoes kcpl really want their fixer running point on this, as her integrity with city governance has already been slammed for conflict
ReplyDeleteThis will become a referendum on Sly and the fixers very soon, we knew the usual suspects would get flushed out
ReplyDeleteDoes Cindy work for Burns and Mac or KCPL, Cindy was on Sly's speed dial for help from the corporate inside fixers
ReplyDeleteThe machine is dragging out the old team to recreate the old faithful fix plays, but public mood is different now and Star is not so enamored with the joke on oak and bald fixes
ReplyDeleteLet the games begin
ReplyDeleteLet's see who thinks Sly's rushed insider monster fixes are ok
ReplyDeleteNot sure the ATA wants to grab this lightning rod , Dstay tuned for disruptive innovations coming to you soon, thanks Elon
ReplyDeleteDavid Johnson and former city councilwoman Cindy Circo.
ReplyDeleteNow you don't think the fix is already being planned in Mayor Liars office. The city is in this up to their necks.
The seven people who should serve on a board of directors for the new streetcar district in all fairness should be people not on any salary that is related to the street car planing, building, or operating of.
So in short that would eliminate Johnson and Circo.
WHY!!!!!! We said no,no,no! No streetcar expansion! The majority said no!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteToot toot. Another rigged "election." Hoot. Clunk.
ReplyDeleteSherry DeJanes has my vote. Please join me and help her campaign.
ReplyDeleteWe need to get some folks who oppose expansion to run for the board of directors.
ReplyDeleteFunny that the trolley folks can pick the election scheme to suit their needs -
ReplyDelete“If streetcar expansion is to move forward, a third election will have to be held next year, again by mail, in which voters within the district would be asked to approve the specific sales and property taxes necessary to pay the local portion of streetcar expansion.”
That's fine let em' do it !!!
ReplyDeleteALSO Mayor SLY JAMES can look forward to a huge "RECALL" vote to remove his pathetic lying worthless Degenerate communist Ass from office ~ !!!
Start voting SLY JAMES out of office NOW !!
VOTE YES !!!!!
