Jackson County jail inmate charged after infected urine thrown on officer
A Jackson County jail inmate was charged Thursday with endangering a corrections officer after he allegedly threw urine infected with hepatitis C on the officer. Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker charged Leo Dowthard IV, 39, with the class D felony. The reported assault happened in January.
