Donald Trump has nominated Sam Brownback, the current governor of Kansas, to be the new ambassador for the Commission for International Religious Freedom. Brownback has a long history with religious freedom including being one of the sponsors who created the commission when he was in the U.S. Senate.
The only thing to celebrate about stupid motherfucker Brownback is that he isn't governor much longer.

If you want to see what strangling the Kansas economy has done to the state, look at the wrecks and deaths in KDOT construction zones that directly related to projects starved for funding, where projects are dragged out more than twice as long as they should be in heavily congested areas because it costs more to have crews work around the clock to finish projects as soon as possible for safety's sake. Also, compare the unmowed weeds along Kansas highways and interstates to the frequently mowed roadsides in Missouri. You like Kansas sunflowers? Just look at all of them alongside your Kansas highways, along with the Johnson grass and teasle.
