ReplyDelete2 pretentious twinkle-toes filming themselves drinking coffee, skateboarding, while imagining that they're making a positive contribution to society is lunacy.
What the area really really needs more of are pretentious coffee shops, craft beer, "makers" shops in empty garages, T-shirt companies, "art" studios, and all the other "look at me" dreams of mostly unemployed millenials.
ReplyDeleteMost of these "businesses" won't last 18 months, but there'll be no reporting on all the empty store fronts and offices. That wouldn't fit the breathless narrative of the downtown renaissance.
