Kansas City Celebrates Progressive Public TV Newsie Hype Machine Conversation

Here's a look at KANSAS CITY NEWSPAPER JOURNALISTS offering their opinion on topics that we've already discussed in great detail and where TV newsies have already reported most of the facts to much bigger audiences . . . Yet still, public TV offers this pedestal in order to enforce a narrative that's losing influence at the ballot box and among local audiences.

Description:

"Nick Haines, Lynn Horsley, Barbara Shelly, Steve Vockrodt & Dave Helling discuss Sen. Jerry Moran's impact on the new healthcare bill, the executive order of Gov. Greitens to create a drug monitoring program, the potential for privatizing Westport streets, KCPD chief candidates, the Kansas Supreme Court case on education funding, KCI bids, the three streetcar ballot issues & Lyft returning to KC."

Horsley -- "I've been reporting in this town forever and nobody knows who I am!"

Shelley -- "How come no one recognizes my Liberal genius? Is it possible I'm not as smart as I think I am?"

Vockrodt -- "I traded my soul for a steady paycheck by joining the KC Star, and they won't let me investigate the good stuff."

Helling -- "I'm in love with Rachel Maddow. Do you think people can tell I wear a wig?"
