Fear Kansas City Walking Dead

Two important examples of pedestrian peril . . .

A man was hit and killed by a vehicle at I-435 & Cookingham just before 11:00 p.m. Friday.

And then . . .

Pedestrian killed in hit and run on 71 Highway

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Early Saturday morning a female was killed by a hit and run driver on 71 Highway and 51st Street. Just after 2:00 a.m. officers were called to a fatal crash with a pedestrian. Police say the woman was hit in the traffic lane and died immediately or soon after.

Comments

  1. When they build an interstate highway and put multiple stop light intersections on it, WTF do they expect?

That road was poorly designed, and adding stop lights to an interstate highway further shows the world just how stupid the decision makers in KC are.

  2. "71" is the minimum speed limit to avoid being carjacked. Pedestrians not looking to carjack should avoid major roads, especially at night.
