  1. Universities are typically run by progressives; see MU, Lawrence, Manhattan, etc. The out of control costs of upper education are 100% the fault of the progressives in charge and the constant beat of the Dept of Education progs saying we have to go to college we have to go to college. Not to mention the administration of the "student loan" programs through the fed which is designed to keep people perpetually in debt.

Der Fuhrer said that he had a "beautiful" health care plan.

And a thirty day plan to defeat ISIS

And that Mexico was going to pay for the "beautiful" wall, though his tentitive budget calls for 1.6 Billion to start building this wall.

And that he supported the LGBT Community

He's lied on every campaign promise that he made.

  7. Has anyone noticed that Cleaver complains a lot but he never accomplishes anything or fixes anything? In the south, they would say he's all hat and no cattle.

  12. he's right that excessive loans are part of a vicious racket that is not in students' interests.

this should be apparent to people of good faith regardless of their politics.

  13. Der Funkhouser, the lazy bum that sits on his ass drawing government disability, bitching about someone else not quickly accomplishing all their goals - that's rich.

  14. I hate student loan debt too. That is why I worked my fat ass off while I went to school. Today the boons go to school and you can't even get their lazy asses to work after they get a degree, unless, of course, cousin Rashita got them a government job. Seems like you have a good 18 years for your parents and you to prepare for college. Ponder that before you try to get your dick skinners in my wallet.

This is why the Democratic Party is in the shitter. They abandoned the blue collar workers for Wall Street, Big Pharma.

Just like LBJ and Vietnam and The Smartest Guys in the Room.

All Harvard educated. There are lots of people better suited and smarter than those Obama put in to run the economy.

The drive to send every kid to college is not the best way to educate. Trade schools which teach blue collar jobs that pay good money, better money than the typical holder of a BA.

How much of this student debt goes to the faux colleges like Phoenix, DeVry, et al?

There people in banking, manufacturing, that are more attuned to the economy than the Harvard crowd for sure.

Whatever the Democrats want to bitch about the Republicans are doing need to be reminded that it was Bill Clinton who gave them the power to do so. Reagan got a few piddling things through but Clinton allowed Too Big To Fail to nurture.

  19. A college education is not a "right" and if you cannot afford College A then you go to College B, C, or D. You may have to get a job to help pay your way (I know, what a concept) or if your parents are willing, they may need to work a little bit extra to get you through. Whatever the case if YOU sign those financial papers that get you into higher education then the responsibility is YOURS to pay it off, not mine, not other taxpayers, and it's not the responsibility of the school to forgive that debt if YOU can't pay it. And if you can't afford it then you don't go, it's that simple...or it should be.

  21. This is just more political bullshit. When Cleaver was on that jet to Africa with the Coonander and Chief Obamy I don't recall hearing of him wanting to do anything about student loan debt. When the Democrats were running congress he wasn't working on student loan debt. This ass hole is just trying to play politics. Perhaps he could start at the car wash by giving one fucking employee a scholarship. I guarantee it wont happen unless he can find a dumb while libtard to hand him the money.
