TKC MUST READ!!! KANSAS CITY UNIONS PEN LOVE LETTER SUPPORTING BURNS & MAC BUILDING NEW SINGLE-TERMINAL AIRPORT!!!

Here's a look at corporate power players earning some love from union interests in the ongoing debate . . .

There has been some talk about this letter previously but we thought it was best to let our blog community take a look at the document in its entirety:

Check the opening and money line . . .

"The Greater Kansas City AFL-CIO and the Greater Kansas City Building & Construction Trades Council both passed motions to endorse Burns & McDonnell to design, build and finance a new single terminal at KCI.

"While we understand that the RFP/Q process is still soliciting bids from other companies, we believe Burns & McDonnell is the right choice because of their strong ties to Kansas City and their long-standing, positive working relationship with organized labor . . . "

Now . . .

While the sign of support is nice, here's the behind the scenes reality . . .

CITY HALL INSIDERS DON'T LIKE THE UNIONS GIVING MARCHING ORDERS AND THE LETTER CAME OFF A BIT TO HEAVY HANDED!!!

Nevertheless, with billions of dollars at stake there's not much room for subtly amid a great many good questions about this screwed up process.

  2. Whenever there's a big big pile of public money, it always attracts lots of folks with bags to fill up.
Sort of like a steaming pile of horse manure that attracts lots of flies.
And the fake levels of "public interest" and increasingly outlandish rationales never cease to amaze.
    Money, plain and simple.
Pay no attention to anything else.

  3. Of course the over paid union crybabies support it. Fuck them. If we end up building it, we have more than enough Mexicans that will work for a fraction of what we would have to pay the union crybabies. Then when it's over, we can deport all the Mexicans

  4. Thew current airport willz dizapeer off da face of earth Sly sez. If diz new one izn't approved.

  5. So, city hall insiders don't like the letter coming off heavy handed, really? Forcing a new airport aka "sLIE James International airport", toy train and an effing hotel down our throats isn't heavy handed? welcome to the citizens of killa city's world

  6. So give the money to low wage earning Mexicans so they can take it home with them? What have you against an American making a good living wage? I'm truly baffled by that comment

    1. I don't have anything against Americans making a good living wage. I just don't like overpaid union crybabies and I don't like all the corruption involved in this airport shit. If you can't understand that, then fuck you, asswipe.

  10. Of course the unions are going to do what ever to show support for this project. And if it passes they will be first in line holding their hands out while reminding everyone they did their public support gig and now want their just reward and fair cut of the money.

  11. Oh I forgot to add, have you ever seen a union that was against anything new and shining costing millions of dollars?

  12. Sly should hire those wannabe $15.00 per hour burger flippers to build the airport. After all he did throw his support behind them.

  13. And then withdrew it!

  14. Didn't the unions build the last airport that is falling apart?

  16. If you can remember that far back Slick willie threatened Mexico for treating they're worst criminals like the animals they were and Mexico said ok so they released them from prison and told them to go to the U.S. and don't come back, look how that turned out, we have some of the worst Mexican gangs now

  17. Good point! There's at least a million and a half prison guards who have union membership in SEIU and Teamsters. I'm really glad to hear the Kansas City Missouri AFL CIO stand up for the apartheid system they helped create and profit from by the billions. Police Unions included, they got lawyers, guns and money to crush any opposition in Kansas City. Thank you, racism in Kansas City is Union Strong!

  18. Let me give it to you chumps because frankly none of you appear too bright... so here goes...the new airport is a done deal...bank on it. You don't like the unions? Tough...they are getting the contracts to build it. Make sure you thank them for the five-day work week and 8 hour shift as you pass by. Not one of you chumps has any say in whatever the city wants to do. If you don't like it?? MOVE! Now stand down chumps. Your betters are passing by.

  19. Don't you fucktards see? The progressive left runs this country! Ask Chuck. Any thing they want, they get! The big orange dummy is powerless in the face of the progressives who really run this country. There isn't any thing you can do about it. The MSM and progressive left have decided there will be a new airport, so there will be. Bow down before the left rubes...we own you!!!!!!

  20. This letter shows you how stupid "Duke" Dukajovich and Martiny are. Remember, Duke is running for City Council . Who do they think will build the airport if a legitimate bidder gets the job? They should remain neutral and support all bidders. Cover their bases. Union members need to tell them to smarten up! Better yet shit can them!
