Independence Police are still looking for one of two people in connection to package thefts all long East Walnut Street. So far police have made one arrest. Police said they were able to identify one woman as a suspect after hundreds of people shared a social media post with footage from one theft - and then there was the fact that police even recognized her.

The latest attempt at sealing elusive deals on income tax and school finance emerged Sunday afternoon following three days of stop-and-go negotiations between the Legislature's two chambers, which each have passed their own versions of a K-12 bill.

The Petco Foundation announced Saturday that it had awarded a $500,000 lifesaving impact grant to the KC Pet Project to help save homeless animals in the Kansas City area. The proceeds from the grant will be used for programs including: ▪ Expansion of a canine training and behavior modification program to help make medium and large breed dogs adoptable quicker.

  3. Hay I Have been too the donut lounge and couple times I'm only 140 lbs most people have 1 donut,and a drink or coffee. And the lady's that buy,the donuts there not fat many of them are pretty hot. So if you want a good donut go for it.
