A couple of weeks ago the newspaper offered this bit of propaganda given that most of their coverage is dictated by the local government entities supplying the tax breaks which sustain their existence:

I wonder if the FBI has picked up on the human trafficking going on there. Where the black guy in the big yellow car drops of people to beg on the corner of State Line and 435 for him in exchange for who knows what. Tried to bring it to attention to police in past but they wouldn't investigate without specifics. Brought it too attention of the Pitch but they said that kind of investigative work requires lots of time and money.
Some of these people begging on the corner are doing so because they owe money to a slimeball pimp who has them working for him.
Im not saying these people are necessarily tied to the killings but hey, who knows what kind of riff-raff is indebted to this guy?
Bad guys go where the pickings are good. And when there are no witnesses, pickings are VERY good on the trails.
