Burns & McDonnell adds big KC construction players to its KCI team - Kansas City Business Journal
An official with the Kansas City engineering and architecture firm said its plan to use local construction labor and private financing is the only route to a new terminal that local voters will support. Burns & McDonnell, a Kansas City-based engineering and architecture firm competing for the single-terminal modernization job at Kansas City International Airport, just unveiled two secret weapons: JE Dunn Construction and McCownGordon Construction.

ReplyDeleteNot surprising that both of these construction firms appear prominently on the campaign contributor list for Sylvester James. On the other hand, don't look for Black and Veatch to get any action, because they don't make it practice to dole out campaign cash.

ReplyDeleteWow - these guys keep coming out of the woodwork like roaches. Guess they smell lots and lots of money. Hope the taxpayers remember all this under-the-table double dealing when and if the project comes up for a vote. Don't drink the Kool-Aid and swallow all that hype about airlines paying for the new facilities.
