After budget cuts, Missouri Libraries seeks book donations

The University of Missouri Libraries, responding to the loss of millions of dollars in its budget, is asking book lovers for some help. Two weeks ago, library officials posted a website with a wish list of more than 400 books they hoped to buy for the libraries but are not able to because of budget cuts.

If these libraries would go digital we could literally save billions, serve more people, eliminate wait lists for materials and appeal to tens of thousands more folks with a huge bang for your tax buck factor. All reasons why the bureaucrats will fight like hell to keep the legacy bureaucracy.
