Political shift, hospital's fears hand NRA defeat in Kansas

Kansas lawmakers' approval of a measure meant to keep concealed guns out of hospitals is a testament to how much the Republican-controlled Legislature shifted to the left in last year's elections. Kansas has been a testing ground for gun-rights advocates' favored policies.

Comments

  1. Helling does not explain why the federal government, pooling tax money from all 50 states and other funds borrowed from the Chinese, Japanese, etc., should be responsible to fix Kansas City's deteriorating infrastructure. I thought the previous President was going to take care of that when he shook down present and future taxpayers for shovel ready projects. I don't recall Helling complaining when those funds went to Friends of Barack instead of cities' infrastructure. He is not to be taken seriously.
