KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City is on a dangerous trend right now - an increasing rate of homicides. The city's recorded more homicides through this point in 2017 than it has through the same dates in the last four years.

  3. Street car is down. Just got a call from my dad at union station. Was having dinner with my mom and got stranded there after taking the street car from river market to there. Mom is in a wheelchair and he needed me to pick him up to take him to his van leaving my mom there. Fortunately a bus came to pick people up.

Anyone know why the street car is down, again?

  5. Take this to your community forum! A white professor at Evergreen college in Washington state is being punished for disagreeing to have a day without whites the students wanted.

Please contact the Dept of Justice and the Dept of Education and demand punishment and revoke of federal funding for this college.

This is a nasty racist and hate crime against a white professor and white people!

This black privilege hatred needs to stop.

To the KCPD keep up the good work even though Mayor James has put you in harms way by cutting back on police officers. His goal is to harm you!

  6. We have plenty of cops. They choose not to use them. Mayor bullhorn and fat boy Troy are telling KCPD to only put the minimum amount of cops on the street to keep costs down. Money rules in these two clowns world not the citizens they swore to protect

  7. They have to pay the 500,000 in OT to the police chief.

  10. City Council members noted, however, that city employees are different from police employees. While the city negotiates with its own unions, Kansas City police are considered to be state employees and are part of a department that answers to the Board of Police Commissioners, not the city.

The city’s only responsibility is to fund the Police Department as required by state law, and every year the city exceeds that responsibility, to the tune of more than $230 million this year out of the city’s total $1.5 billion budget.

  13. Can someone explain to me why Leawood doesn't need a curfew? How about Oak Grove? How about Argentine? What is it about the areas that need curfews that they have in common? Do the Asians in Columbus Park need a curfew? Only black people can't behave with common decency. You know how embarrassing it should be to a people that they can't be trusted whatsoever? But no, they have no pride or decency. It really isn't that difficult to act with some civility but they can't. They are a plague on Earth.

  15. "Curfew proposed to curb violent crime at KC parks"

There is something seriously wrong with a city having the mentality that if you remove all good and peaceful citizens you will reduce crime. The answer is an unbridled assault against the criminals at all levels. I know that means fewer trips to the donut shop, prosecutors being trained to actually take cases to court and a reduction in using police as fund raisers for the city, but enough is enough.

    ReplyDelete
  16. KCPD is just a fund raiser for the city.
It's not a real police department.
