KC streetcar: 6,000 ballots requested for southern extension - Kansas City Business Journal
About 6,000 Kansas Citians will receive ballots to vote on the streetcar's proposed southern extension, said Tom Gerend, executive director of the Kansas City Streetcar Authority. Voting will begin June 20 and end by Aug. 1.
It's a shame that the 240 million per year tourists can't vote on for the toy train.
ReplyDeleteGerend was talking about the need for more density in KCMO, while living in a detached single family home in Olathe.
ReplyDeleteThe silly circular argument for density resembles the roundabout discussions about hotels and enlarging Bartle Hall. First maybe you need the first. Then, no, you really need the other.
ReplyDeleteAnd each time the public cash register rings.
We need more density to support silly toys like the streetcar and we need more streetcars to encourage density.
See how that works?
Ka-ching!
Wait - you say 240 million a year ????
ReplyDeletethought they said it was more like 650 million a day ,,,,,,,,
TAKE THAT TRAIN TO BROOKSIDE SO ALL THE LIBERALS THERE CAN TAISTE THE FRUIT OF THEYRE LABOR. ENJOY
