  1. As a Johnson County resident, it makes me angry they spent all that money on this ridiculous project. Just stupid.

  2. Johnson County heritage? Are you kidding me? A county named after a fundamentalist missionary who commuted in every day from KCMO, because slave ownership was illegal in Kansas? A county that started out as a reservation for Indians who had been ethnically cleansed out of their more easterly lands ... and who not much later were kicked out of Joco to make room for Whitey? A half-dozen suburbs whose sole reason for existence was to let upwardly mobile white Christians live in neighborhoods free of blacks and Jews? Joco would do well to suppress all memory of its heritage. Because Joco's heritage is pretty horrible.

    1. Such rage! Such hatred of success! How dare people relocate away from high crime and clownish civic mismanagement! How dare those successful people make their choice about where to live!!

  3. the museum is ok. it's a small-town thing and not supposed to be a big deal.

it'll be frequented by soccer moms and their kids in bad weather.

    nothing wrong with that.

  4. ^^^How did you get rage & hate out that comment? I didn't. It seemed a simple statement of facts. Maybe toughen up the ol' skin snowflake. Quit looking to be offended and you won't be.

  5. Hey, it's only money. That is something that JoCo has in abundance. It is a great place to advance vote, better than driving to Mission or Olathe. The county paid too much for this place, but it is not the worst thing that ever happened. Just look over the State Line. In JoCo, we CAN have nice things and CAN be proud of them without apologies to the "po folks".

  6. Yeah, riiiight, 9:16, "...suppress all memory of its heritage." Looneys and liars have their revisionist history underway. These snowflakey crybabies are removing statues and monuments, because too many "triggers" setting off "traumas" IS GONNA CAUSE OVERCROWDING IN THE SAFESPACES!!!
