TKC EXCLUSIVE AND BREAKING NEWS!!! FRANK WHITE WASH?!?! JACKSON COUNTY INSIDERS RAGE OVER DELAYED JAIL RAPE REPORT SCATHING DEETS ALLEGEDLY CLEANED UP BY EXECUTIVE'S TEAM!!!

Allegations of Jackson County jail rape still confront the office of County Executive Frank White. A report commissioned on the crisis has been delayed and, many fear, rewritten to avoid responsibility.

To wit . . .

INSIDERS FEAR A JACKSON COUNTY JAIL RAPE REPORT COVER-UP!!!

More important than the politics of this post . . .

FACT: THE JAXCO JAIL REPORT WAS PROMISED LAST YEAR BUT HAS YET TO BE RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC!!!

Amid election season and the passing of time, there has been little to no accountability for the crisis at the jail despite promises that and investigation and ensuing report would be the first step in solving prison problems.

Here's the word . . .

Remember when Jackson County hired former US Attorney Todd Graves to issue a report on the repeated rapes and assaults at the county jail? Insiders report that the written report was completed in late November, but THE FRANK WHITE ADMINISTRATION has been sitting on it given that it includes EXPLOSIVE details of his administrations TOTAL INCOMPETENCE that have directly lead to the victims being assaulted, and his administrations inability to fix the problems that are still ongoing . . .

TEAM FRANK WHITE has been constantly "tweaking" and rewriting the report to remove any references to incompetence or misconduct. It will only be released to the public when the content is "acceptable" to the County Executive's Office. Once again, this is the kind of stuff the KANSAS CITY STAR and their lazy hacks used to be interested in covering, but now public incompetence and rapes seem to be unimportant topics unworthy of investigation to the former paper of record.

    1. Accountability at Jackson County? That hasn't happened in years. Frank has been enjoying flying under the radar and living off of his fame. Sooner or later his record in office will be examined and so far it is filled with a lot of embarrassing mistakes.

    2. Better title: Another Kansas City bait and switch.

Typical strategy for all local politicians. Make a big promise and hope nobody holds you to it. That's been Trump's key to success so far.

  2. Frank White is just another of the managers who have not managed. The rapes in the jail have occurred for at least 20 years, long before his administration. The screams and begging for relief have continued all the time. Nobody cares. If you are a young man, you can go to hell or to the Jackson County jail. There is no difference. This latest incident is about a women, but don't ever think that it is just women. People who work there know to ignore the screams and begging and just go about their jobs. It reminds me of the death camps in Germany.

  3. ^^9:01 - Uh huh, like Barry's "keep your doctor", "Red Line crossing ramifications", and his 139 other broken promises. They're listed on WashPo, Forbes, aol, YuTube, and more.

  4. Jackson County has always been a hell hole, this is just another story in a long line of disappointments. Guess the feds didn't really clean things up.

  5. Graves writes fake reports for money.

  6. What about Boozy Crystal William's Report? Aren't the taxpayers buying a report for her? What happened to that report?

    ReplyDelete
  7. DeAnne is a screeching bigot.

  8. Graves is an old ally of Sanders. Graves and Sanders became prosecutors at same time. Graves was removed as U.S. Attorney for improprieties. Graves report was, undoubtedly, an exculpation of Sanders and shifted blame to White and others.

Were there not two other investigations?

  9. Sanders kept DeAnn Smith close at hand too. So that explains her circulating the story. Skippy has plenty of money now, so a little cash in an envelope to DeAnn would not be a bad investment to make things look like they fell apart after he left.

  10. Keeping the White report a secret is a shame. Taxpayers are footing the bill for it, we should be able to see it. There is no excuse for suppressing the report.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Deanne may or may not be the source, but that also doesn't make what she says wrong. Graves was hired (paid) to do what he does, write a piece of fiction to exonerate White from any criticism for incompetence. But even the hired gun has been unwilling so far to write that given how bad this is. Bigger question: where in the hell is a reporter on this? This is a complete scandal and I am simply shocked that the STAR is willfully looking the other way to, I can only imagine, avoid the appearance of criticizing a minority democratic politician. TKC is spot on. This site is the only place anymore that even attempts to critically cover the county or city.

  12. Wait, Clifford and White HIRED GRAVES THEMSELVES. Good for Todd that he's not willing to lie for them. Some men cant be bought.

    Posted without the nigga bullshit:

Why does DeAnn Smith push this stuff to Tony and elsewhere? Her husband has a no-work job at the county. She has been fired by every professional news outlet in this city. It is not as if she has any financial security, but she hates N#####. She wants to see the N##### fall. So she wanders around pushing trash on Frank White and Caleb Clifford who married a N######. I happen to know she has spent a lot of effort pushing this story and others to a local television outlet. Get over it DeAnn.

  14. Toddy Graves has a habit of writing fairytales to defend sex offenders, like a certain disgraced Bishop. If you have a problem regarding sexual assault, call Todd.

  15. I'm glad that I know the truth now, if the report doesn't implicate Frank White, it's because he doctored it.

    ReplyDelete
  16. So this is what the Star should be covering: Where is the Graves Report? Some times you need to spell it out for the new publisher because all of his reporters are so lazy.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Deann as an operative? LOL This is getting worse than Rachel Maddow.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Report was written in November but is being kept secret by White, why would that be? If it said Frank White is not to blame and ANYONE ELSE was, he's have asked his puppet Hendrix to publish it in the Star. Dots connected. This is why every town needs honest reporters at the paper.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Deann isn't an operative for anyone but Frank White, HER HUSBAND WORKS DIRECTLY FOR FRANK WHITE taking publicity pictures of him wherever he goes, all at the taxpayers expense!!!!!!

    1. True dat. He's a pretty good photographer. County has much better pictures with just one guy on staff then KCMO who keeps a stable of like half a dozen photographers around as freelancers making full time wages.

  20. Detroit is now a better run city than this shithole. And the KC Star is partly to blame for dereliction of duty. Last straw for me, I'm canceling my subscription. I can get my scores online, and they don't report on shit, just publish press releases for Sly and White and the dems.

  21. Where the fuck is Crystal Williams on all of this?

    ReplyDelete
  22. An earlier comment this morning said it all. Blame the legislators, blame Crystal. She was supposed to protect women but does't care if they are raped inside the jail. She failed to act, she just wants to be queen of ward parkway.

  23. DeAnn:

How much public money did they spend on the Graves "report?"

    Thanks,

    The Public

    ReplyDelete
  24. Here's what should be in the report, the jail is still a f-ing nightmare. Nothing has changed at all since the rapes. The only thing that has happened is jackson county inmates making trouble every where else.

    ReplyDelete
  25. No one cares about inmates. Fuck em!

    ReplyDelete
  26. But the good news is look at all the cool Royals shit on the county Web site.

    ReplyDelete
  27. The DeAnn-Sanders connection is interesting. That explains many things. She does have a hatred for people of color. She got the sack from Channel 5 because of her "traditional" views.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I know a guy who was raped in the jail back in 1990.
    Its true,I'm just saying.

Literally ass raped by other inmates..so,yes,been happening that long,at least.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Why does Mike Sanders what to do in Frank White? Why would he spend money paying a former newsy to do that?

    ReplyDelete
  30. It's really too bad that neither Jackson County nor KCMO have actual competent governments.
The endless crap, incompetence, embarrassment, and waste of money drags down the entire metro and region.
What a bunch of disgusting pitiful people.
And all on the public dime.

  31. For 4/13/17, 12:39 PM4/13/17, 1:19 PM

Word is that Mike Sanders promised Dan Tarwater he would support Tarwater for county executive, if Tarwater did not challenge Sanders' run for a third term. When Sanders "decided to spend more time with his family" he worked with the good ol' boys on the legislature to put the baseball player in the big office as a placeholder. They really did not expect White to run for the office last year. They certainly did not expect him to talk about running for re-election next year. Tarwater, Waits and Sanders have to get rid of White so they can take total control again. They probably will.

  32. Tony, put in a FOIA request for the report.

    ReplyDelete
  33. FOIA requests return actual facts; Tony wouldn't be interested.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Tony is scared to do anything like that.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Clifford seems smug about beating FOIAs anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Franks gotta go.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Royals didn't think Frank was fit to run a baseball team, but the fuck ups in Jackson County put him in charge of everything!

    ReplyDelete
  38. I wondered what happened to DeAnn Smith.

    ReplyDelete
  39. What the fuck. The county has a full time photographer on the payroll?

    ReplyDelete
  40. It shows how stupid and fucked up the county and people on this BLOG are when they keep referencing a guy who stepped down two years ago as the "man behind the curtain" running everything. Find some new shtick.

    ReplyDelete
  41. What it comes down to is that White isn't qualified for the job, but the legislators have no one to blame since they voted him in. They all need to go.

    ReplyDelete
  42. 7:48 I don't think Sanders is running the show anymore. Frank is the ex joc out front, while Caleb is the wiz kid behind the curtain.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Lets all get our panties in a bunch and act like this crap doesn't go on in damn near every jail and prison in America. Fuck criminals let them try being the victim. It might adjust their attitudes.

    ReplyDelete
  44. ^^^ That's very brazen, I guess you don't live in KC and realize that you could wind up in jail for a really brief time and be at the mercy of some of the most dangerous people in the state. Do you like those odds for yourself or your loved ones? Fixing the jail isn't about protecting the inmates, it's about protecting the residents.
