The U.S. government is considering renegotiating the North American Free Trade Agreement, and Kansas City-area leaders want to make sure the voices of local business people are heard on the matter. The Kansas City economy exports more than $6.7 billion worth of products around the world each year, with $2.01 billion going to Canada and $1.23 billion going to Mexico, making NAFTA a big deal for the regional economy.
