  2. ^^^do you know what wealthy areas like Blue Valley often do? They pass bond votes to tax themselves for better schools. If you don't think the lack of minorities, high number of college graduates, and high percentage of traditional nuclear families has nothing to do with the ranking I have a wall along the Southern U.S. border I'd like to sell you.

  3. ^+1

Few years back, a wonderful teacher from a certain KC area elementary school transferred to Blue Valley district - was disappointing, but understandable.

  4. Don't mess with the corner office guys/gals when it comes to their kiddies and the nice neighborhood schools. There are options for them if they so choose at parochial or private elementaries. Another Saint So-N-So or a BigShinyShow Academy (another Barstow?), would happen easily. Ya saw that yuuuuge multi-million dollar stained glass at the recently expanded mega church, didn't ya? Well, no problem for tithes and tuitions for plenty B.V. daddies. Others, may be have the lake and ski vacay homes going to rentals for awhile, or sold.
