Airlines add flights and choose aircraft size based on the number of seats their analysis shows they can fill.

It has absolutely nothing to do with an airport terminal.
If people want to build a new terminal at KCI they can at least try to convince the public by presenting facts instead of PR hype and outright lies.
Of course, that would require a complete change in the way KCMO is led and managed, but this would be a good place to start.
The pressure for the KCI re-do will continue because the obscenely big profits from a sweetheart build deal, like KCI, will probably be from 35% to 40% or more. It used to be that a profit of 10-15%
