TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! JACKSON COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT APPROVES KANSAS CITY TOY TRAIN STREETCAR EXTENSION VOTE!!!

Take a look at Kansas City moving further town the track to bankruptcy along with the corruption of our local Democracy via a QUARTER BILLION DOLLAR PROJECT pushed forward by a handful of people who were delayed but not deterred to prolong their ongoing consulting fees.

The Jackson County Circuit Court has approve the Extension proposal to UMKC. A mail-in election will be held April 5 to May 2 2017.

Here's a FIRST LOOK at the court order that's kind of a mixed bag and eschews most of the responsibility for the whole thing.

You decide . . .

  5. HAHA. Just remove the "ill" and you have legal!

  6. Proving that certain behavior is “legal” does not prove that it is ethical or just. That’s because corrupted political systems, by definition, often protect and legalize exactly the behavior that is most unjust.

  7. Notice that the court does its best to stay out of the fight. They know this is dirty.

  12. But what about puppie dogs and pavement. Isn't that the priority. Or is it just to distract people from this mail in vote when it starts?

  13. Did the judge rule in favor of voter suppression again? Last election was mail-in ballots that had to be notarized. Certainly was not easy (nor cheap) to vote in that one.

  14. Who gets to vote? If it's limited to a population of hipster-renters, who will be in other cities or in Johnson County when the shit hits the fan, then the proposal will pass. If it is a broader vote, including individuals who will shop and eat elsewhere if the streetcar tax is in place, then the proposal will fail. I suspect the vote will be as limited as the proponents can make it; this is a legal scam, just like the downtown line vote was.
