SURVEY SEYZ: KANSAS CITY OLD AND BUSTED STREETS STAY LOSING!!!

While Downtown enjoys all kinds of news toys . . . Neighborhoods outside of the loop endure continued neglect, deferred maintenance and real blight when it comes to the most commonly used form of transit. Take a look: Nearly half of KC roads below fair condition

  4. Wake the fuck up, KCMO government! 45% of our roads are in poor or worse condition. This and the safety of citizens should be top priority. It's a sad day when the bar is only 30% citizen satisfaction. Sad.

  8. My wife has been fucking the neighbor because of the streetcar, too! Before the streetcar EVERYTHING WAS THE BEST, now it's THE WORST!!!

  9. So, if "nearly half" are in fair or worse shape, then the MAJORITY of our overbuilt roads (which are lightly used and run through miles and miles of sprawl where few people live and there is not enough tax base to pay for road maintenance because "density is BAAAAD") are in GOOD or EXCELLENT shape. THE MAJORITY.

Solution: quit passing away hundreds of millions of dollars every year on new roads in the Northland that carry less traffic than the "toy" train and use and maintain the ones we have.

Cure Northland Entitlement Syndrome, cut them off from sucking the core's tit and make them pay for their own sprawl.

    1. Hey you guys! Hey, pay attention to me because I know all about transit and development. It's totally ok if most roads are fine! Just forget about the ones that aren't. Problem solved! Yay! Here's an artisanal t shirt.

  10. ^^^I'm sure the Northland would be happy to become its own city trolley boy. Then who would be "cut off?"

BTW your comment at 8:59 is another NWOR. Don't you have a job?
