FEAR THE KANSAS CITY VIOLENT WEEKEND CRIME REPORT AFTERMATH!!!

Another dangerous Kansas City weekend is completed and here's just part of the scorecard . . .

- Two More Murders Bring The Local Homicide Count to 62

An arson turned into a murder scene and then gunfire aftermath now counted as a murder push the KCMO homicide total past 5-year-high numbers.

- Double Robberies Midtown Kansas City Gunpoint Robberies

Greasy spoons and fancy bistros were targeted on Sunday morning . . .

- Killing Spree Continues In KCK

Bullet riddled corpse turned up in an apartment compex . . .

- Golden Ghetto Fears Pedestrian Knockout Game

A dude beaten and robbed by a hoodie youth mob raises fear for those in Shawnee that their neighborhoods are now un-walk-able just like Kansas City proper.

The topic of crime is yet another important community concern that has been politicized. Example:

Washington Post: Trump is right about violent crime: It’s on the rise in major cities.

Sadly, culture war politics and partisan debate keep neighborhoods from raising important community concerns and talking about solutions rather than just preaching to the social media choir of fake friends.

  2. Last night was a great night in sports. I watched Women's Tennis and the Williams sisters play the Czechs. I did, what ANY red blooded American son of the empire should have done. I cheered every point made by the Czechs.
