No reason to listen to Week in Review if Cashill isn't there. The other "guests" are emotional children whose mouths are connected only to their opinions not to the state of any situation being discussed. Cashill may be a right of right rightwinger --but he is smart enough to know that if the question is why did Brownback win --"The majority liked his position" is a correct answer regardless of whether that is what you want to hear.

ReplyDeleteSo the GOP moves into control of Congress in yet another poorly attended election. Truth is, neither party came close to the disenfranchised who simply stayed home.
ReplyDeleteSo now, another 2 years of dysfunction, followed by, it's the other Party's fault.
The US is facing some serious issues never envisioned 250 years ago. Benign dictatorship will endure our system of 300 million out for the 300 million.
The next generation is going to be facing some serious shortages of resources, jobs, trade, and if anyone think the Republicans or Democrats have the answer, put down the remote control and stop getting your intel from 30 second commercials.

ReplyDeleteCashill gets the best line in, when answering Nick Haines, that the BIGGEST LOSER on Tuesday was "the media in Kansas and Kansas City, who for the last several years did everything in their power to drive Kris Kobach and Sam Brownback out of office.....and they FAILED."

I was very surprised at Ms. Barbara Shellys unprofessional attitude. She is usually rather cognizant, seems to be well read and articulate. But this election review really brought out a nasty, nonprofessional side (for a reporter) who are supposed to "report what happens" not provide their bias.
