Maybe instead they should get to vote on the 20 something TDDs for empty parking lots, the vacant malls and the ceaseless, the billion dollars of roads projects to nowhere that no one uses that never pay for themselves, and the rampant, historic corporate welfare they have to use to attract and jobs to their pyramid scheme of suburban sprawl.
ReplyDelete6:30, bitter much?
ReplyDeleteIn Johnson County, they somehow have figured out how to debate and vote on public policy issues without overpaid consultants, bagmen going door to door, payoffs, inflated numbers, wild promises, and all the rest of the orgy that everyone just witnessed as the streetcar fiasco crashed and burned.
ReplyDeleteMaybe KCMO should try to elect some folks who are actually interested enough in municipal government to learn something about how they can try to make it work to the benefit of people who actually live here, instead of the endless line of salesmen, hucksters, and grifters who make great livings by selling them crap the residents don't want.
What's been going on isn't working very well. Might very well be time for something new.
lol @ 8:08.
ReplyDeletehead in sand much?
Rose and Glazer two assholes this town needs to hear less from. Both silver spooned dipshits who have fucked it all up. Only thing make Stevie a better person is he didn't sue the ole man.
ReplyDeleteSteve Rose has a sweet greasy mullet.
ReplyDeleteSteve is a good guy. Can't blame someone for being born into a well-off family.
ReplyDeleteNope your right asshole we can't blame him for that but we sure as fuck can blame him for fucking it up and being a real asshole.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'd say he could buy and sell you 8:10, so maybe he didn't "fuck it up" as badly as you suspect.
