Can she ask Lawrence and Kansas politicians about their views on unsolicited bulk email?
ReplyDeleteGood luck Karen! Just read the Pitch story about the Cop and the Firefighter... Wow! No one could write that except you. It is one of the best and most important articles in the Kansas City area this year. Hope it wins you a Pulitzer... Very deserving consideration. We look forward to seeing more of your highly refined talents.
ReplyDeletethat Pitch story was the investigative journalism piece of the year for Kansas City, hands down!
ReplyDeleteFunny that the KC Star fired someone who then goes to the free weekly and churns out a better story than they have done in a decade.
The Journal-World is lucky with this pickup.
"they" meaning the KC star, the bastion of suck and a diminishing Comic section.
ReplyDeleteGood riddance
ReplyDeleteI didn't see the big deal about The Pitch story. It was one sided and poorly researched, it read more like opening arguments from Bruno's lawyers.
ReplyDeleteTo Tony anyone over 35 is a Veteran. I wouldn't call landing a job at a pisszant newspaper in the Lawrence Metroplex as a sign you career is flourishing.
ReplyDeletegood luck Karen, you are a real journalist!
ReplyDeleteFunny. The Star prints the LJW too.
ReplyDeleteLast year the LJW shut down their presses, fired all their pressmen and farmed out the printing of their paper to your favorite hometown newspaper.
