Kansas City Royals For Reals?!?!

No jumping on the bandwagon for this blog, remember that during Spring Training there were more than a few KICK-ASS KANSAS CITY INSIDERS who told us to expect good things.

Now it looks as if that FIRST WORD is being proven correct. Which is not to say we're completely convinced BUT only noting our appreciation of local celebration of the Walmart clan's ongoing good fortune @ discount prices. Take a peek:Gordon's 2-run homer in 9th gives Royals 2-1 win
Hopefully, more in a bit...

  1. Given your history with the Royals, I would think you would simply shut your pie hole.

But we know that is outside the realm of reality.

  5. The Royals are basically a Little League team; they won't be in the World Series.

  6. Then there are 28 other Little League teams that will be joining them. I like to see my team win but I also enjoy watching good baseball and the regardless of how far the Royals go this year they have played great baseball.

  7. This year will go down along with the last 28 years, don't kid yourself. They basically suck which is what this Cowtown deserves.

  8. The Royals sucked from 1995 until 2013. The Royals performed well until Mr K died and then the local "elite" were in charge. They liked being owners without putting up their money so they refused to sell the team and allowed it to flounder for several years. Then David Glass who had no experience with baseball buys the team and it flounders for several more years. Finally he wised up, hired good people, spent money and rebuilt the team.

  9. How come the kc star didn't have a picture of the royals fan from Korea putting the winning W up by the scoreboard? It should have been front page material? Whose fault was it? What are they doing about it? Are shareholders mad?
