Kansas City Will Install Sidewalk Far Too Late For 8-Year-Old Killed On Street

Fox4 reports a tragic testament on what it takes to move Kansas City into action: "A Northland street that was the scene of deadly traffic accident earlier this year will soon be getting sidewalks. The city’s Public Works Department says it will install a sidewalk along Winn Road where a car hit and killed an 8-year-old boy."

  1. Very sad that the child died. At some point, people in KC and its suburbs are going to have to come to terms with the fact that building neighborhoods and streets and cities with only car travel in mind is inherently unsafe. Build places for people, not for cars.

Sean Demory will say and do just about anything for money. No wonder he works for the City's public works department. That's where all of the lying thieves start out.
