DID KANSAS CITY NEWSIES RUIN THE WEEKEND WITH WEATHER THREATS?!?

There were a few rain showers in the Kansas City metro this week but nothing out of the ordinary.

Sadly . . .

KANSAS CITY WEATHER NEWSIES CREATED PANIC OVER THE WEEKEND WITH TORNADO TALK THAT DIDN'T IMPACT ANY PART OF THE METRO AREA!!!

Station execs make the argument that this represents part of their coverage area but I've never seen a news station with the Orrick, Mo skyline on their logo.

Fact: These storms, while tragic didn't come close to any part of the KC Metro area . . . If newsies are going to turn their TV stations into the regional storm channel during the Springtime they should say as much so people can just start watching more Netflix.

  1. Yup I turned their stupid fucking asses off over at 4 and went to Fox Sports Go and didn't miss any part of the pre race show.

So fuck you 4 your days of acting stupid and shoving your shit weather coverage on us is slowly coming to an end. Soon we will see Joe Lauria asking you if you want fries with that Big Mac.

  2. Yes, they are crazy. Even this morning, Channel 9 is keeping up the hype about weather that never made it to the metro.

  4. There is not a damn person familiar with Tony that does not know he would be the very first person chastising the powers that be if a tornado hit without adequate warning.

As the world is a less than perfect place, snivelers will always find a situation that reaffirms their unhealthy need to be right. However, they will always be unhappy.

Hence, Tony KC. Misery and company.

Yes, they are mandated by the government to panic and ruin television. Google fiber says screw you!

  8. My gripe is that I was trying to watch the Nets and Heat, and Busby kept babbling about a storm in central Missouri -- well into the viewing area of Columbia stations.

OK, you need to warn people who don't even get your signal. Why not kick it over to a "sister station" -- KCWE, or THIS, with a scroll on 9 alerting people that there is severe weather 100 miles to the east and moving away, and where to tune for more information?
