Rock Chalk Protest Takes To The Streets!!!

Testimony to even more politically incorrect Kansas behavior . . .

Check it:

"Hey TKC, wanted to share this, Here's a photo of a young lady protesting . . . I asked her and she said she had complained about sexual harrassment and was blown off. Other news media not aware yet."

The AWESOME TKC TIPSTER Continues . . . "Here is a link to the accused professor"

And so, allegedly, even one of our most liberal and winning institutions of higher learning has it's problems addressing complaints and allegedly keeping their hands off the student body . . .

  4. hooray it's Unfounded Accusation Friday!

You ever think of calling Dr. Stevens for his side of the story? Or contacting the Public Safety office? Or verifying that this picture isn't seven years old?

Guess not. Absolutely hilarious. Tony you'll fall for anything, I swear.

    2. I, as the survivor of Dr. Stevens's sexual harassment and abuse, would LOVE to hear his side of the story! I guarantee it's full of lies, passive aggression, and Narcissism. My guess is you haven't heard my side of the story, so stop making blind assumptions. You yourself sound a bit misogynistic and have no respect for women.

  15. So awful how universities love to sweep sexual harassment and rape under the rug. It is really serious when a professor oversteps the student-teacher boundary because he or she has a lot of power over his or her students. I admire this girl for standing out in the cold and standing up for herself even the university has ignored and dismissed her complaints. That takes courage.

  16. People don't lie about this stuff. Why would she put herself out there publicly, in the cold, and subject herself to further abuse and harassment if it wasn't true? Whatever his side of the story is doesn't matter because he crossed major boundaries with a student. It is never the fault of the student or the victim!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Because an unflattering picture taken on a cold day is enough to judge a person's character and experience. What if you found her beautiful? Then it would be ok? Believable? No, surely no one you found unattractive has ever been abused in any way.

Whether or not you believe her, you don't know what really happened.

At least she's brave enough to show her face while she fights for what she believes in.

  18. What is wrong with the people commenting here? Sexual harassment is a very serious thing. When you say things against a victim what you're really doing is supporting the act. (And really? A bunch of faceless trolls commenting on this young woman's appearance? Talk about projecting your own inadequacies.

  19. Sexual harassment is not addressed by universities, as they would rather cover for the faculty than take harassment issues seriously. This is what happens when one young woman has exhausted every single avenue for reporting such behavior, and gets no results, except dismissing her concerns and blaming the victim. So many colleges are even covering up rapes, that 1 out of 5 young women entering college will be raped! This is horrendous and we need to take a stand. This girl is brave, and thanks for the positive coverage, Tony! Victims need support!

  20. About the person who posted that they survived the professors abuse - good for you!! It's no easy thing. This happens to way too many people in college, whether its a professor or a fellow-student. It sounds like this guy is a serial offender possibly?? Someone else here posted this prof is creeper. Anyone else have experience with this guy besides the person who so bravely posted above? People should keep an eye on this professor. Yikes.

  21. Haha, that professor's pic has fake written all over it! Like he's showing you what he thinks you want to see. I don't trust people like that: seems too perfect.

  22. Ahem. Let's set aside the overabundance of oh-so incredibly erudite and apposite [cough cough] comments on the physical attractiveness of a person obviously dressed for cold weather from what appears to be unsupervised 13 year old boys with less IQ than your average doorknob and move on to the point. The question at issue is not only whether an incident happened or not, it is what the KU administration and offices did not DO about it once the allegation was made. The very reason that there are offices and people to handle this sort of thing is because they happen with sufficient regularity as to require such an office. To have the young woman's complaint dismissed by the administration in favor of a professor is unjust. A professor is in a position of authority over a student, which makes abuse of that position all the more heinous and thorough investigation all the more essential. KUDOS to the young woman for having the courage to stand up and get as much justice for herself as she can!

  23. Wow, KU...caretakers of slime pervert, student-abusing Professor Paul Stevens?!? You must be so proud. *SMH* Shame on you for not protecting this brave young woman - and any other victims of this perpetrator in your midst!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Shame on you people whom have stooped so low to have commented such hateful things. Where do you find it in your hearts to place blame onto the victim? Also, shame on the University of Kansas for not addressing the situation appropriately and handling it professionally. How cowardly for the school to have just, like the other poster said, swept it under the rug to protect a professor. Sexual harassment is not a joke and it is a very serious matter. This woman is so brave. Not only did she suffer through sexual harassment but she must deal with the aftermath of it. I am proud to see her outside protesting, in the freezing cold, I may add. That takes courage to stand up for what is right. I'd like to see KU do the same. She is the change that needs to be made, and as we've all heard, "Be the change you want to see in the world". Keep your head held high you are very admirable, don't let anyone tell you otherwise!
