TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY DOG PARK OPPOSITION COMES BACK TO BITE 4TH DISTRICT COUNCIL CANDIDATE JOHN FIERRO!!!
We're working on a great deal of important, controversial and ground breaking scientific research but for right now let's talk about something kinda funny . . .
THE MOST AWESOME KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS REVEAL THAT DOG PARK SUPPORTERS STILL ANGRY WITH FORMER PARKS BOARD HONCHO JOHN FIERRO ARE NOW ORGANIZING TO BLOCK HIS COUNCIL RUN!!!
Let's look at just a bit of their growling against this Kansas City Council hopeful . . .
Remember that Parks Board Prez Fierro had a tense relationship with these dog park advocates even if he did work to compromise on their demands . . .
One rather adorable doggie crusader says this:
"This is where John Fierro learns that you can't ignore the will of the people forever. He shut out dog park advocates and made us jump through hoops to do things his way before he would even consider our voice. If that's his approach to governance then he doesn't deserve to be on the Council. He is not a friend to dog lovers in Kansas City and we intend to make that clear."
Who knows how much sway doggie advocates hold but it'll be fun to see quasi-incumbent nuzzle up to the doggie crew and attempt to get all cuddly as Kansas City election season draws closer.
Developing . . .
Whatever it takes to defeat this cockroach, is worthwhile. He is a mole of a man and damned sure not worthy of a seat on the KC City Council.
ReplyDeleteHmmm.. 6:46
ReplyDeleteYou may be right about the sleazeball but a seat on the Kansas City council is certainly not worth a shit. Then again, maybe that's the attraction....
Speaking of dog shit, what are his views on Schulte?
ReplyDeleteNever, ever trust ANYONE who doesn't like dogs.
ReplyDeletehe's a conehead.
ReplyDeleteAnd NEVER trust anyone who dogs don't like.
ReplyDeleteMaybe that and drug screening should be required for council candidates.
put a goatee on this fool and he would look like Byron.
ReplyDeleteOf course John will take heat from the haters who opposed the Orange Revolution. We tried to do hard things to improve this community and the power elite opposed us. I will be happy to vote for Mr. Fierro in order to revive that reform movement that he served so loyally.
ReplyDeleteViva Fierro!
ReplyDeleteViva Funkhouser!
Viva Reform!
I am a Catholic and so is John Fierro.
ReplyDeleteOf course, I will vote for John over the Hell-bound pervert named Jolie Justus.
Who gives ashit about crime? As long as the blacks are killing themselves east of troost , we only care about irrelevant shit like this
ReplyDelete7:49 AM
ReplyDeleteI do not agree that we can say who is going to hell, but I do agree that no Catholic can in good conscience vote for a woman who engages in perversions and has not asked for God's help to change and asked for forgiveness.
I will vote for Mr. Fierro, the good Catholic.
When is Fierro having a fundraiser, if the dog crazies are against him, he has my vote and money.
ReplyDeleteWhile a seat on the Council may be worth little, it does have value. There's the $65K salary, the office expense account, the freebies (lunches, drinks, etc.) that come with the office, such as the adoration of political groupies. And this doesn't include the lifetime stipend after a prescribed number of terms. Hell, look at what we're paying the FORMER Council members....It's outrageous!!
ReplyDeleteI have a dog, like him better than most humans but sorry, doggie issues are not on my list of priorities in this city. I really like and respect both candidates in this race but certainly won't base my vote on being dog friendly. Basing a vote on whether or not someone supported a dog park is a little off kilter in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they could put an off-leash dog run down Main street along side the new trolley tracks, bike lane and bus lane. Pay for it by Passing a tax that could only be voted on by dog owners along Main street. The doggie run would create an important and consolidated canine connection, but will also serve as a canine catalyst for continued and sustained economic development. Of course cars and trucks couldn't use Main anymore.
ReplyDelete8:03: You are kidding, right? My watch says it's the 21st Century. What does yours say?
ReplyDeleteSeriously, 8:03, move to Kansas. That's where backwards nuts like you belong.
ReplyDeleteAnd do not underestimate the rich, white dog lovers. Brookside and Waldo are full of them and they're quite serious about this. I know because I'm one of them.
Funk never got the chance to implement the ideas that he and Fierro believe in so I think we should give John a chance.
ReplyDelete7:04 you're nuts. Currently recovering from being attacked by two dogs in a park.
ReplyDeleteKeep your precious mutts at home.
I love dogs. Had them as a kid. Cleaning up and walki them taught me responsibly. Never believed, nor do I now, that the taxp had the responsibility to provide me with a dog park.
ReplyDeleteAnd people cant understand why government is not working.......
Sunnyside park is no longer in the 4th and most of people that supported as well.
ReplyDeleteSunnyside is not in the 4th but then again neither were the people who wanted to turn it into a dog park.
ReplyDeleteSingle issue voting is stupid.
ReplyDeletesenior penis head.
ReplyDeleteI understand that dogs are great for filling emotional voids but the dog park advocates were lunatics that advocated for the harassment and intimidation of their opponents. They have a fantastic dog park in an area that does not compromise other park programming. Parks & Recreation made an unpopular choice but it was the correct choice.
ReplyDeleteFucking the government out of a check every month while committing fraud is stupid two. Where is the letter Byron?
ReplyDeleteA city with a population of less than half a million with a murder rate 30+% that of New York City, with a population 16 times as great, and the discussion is over a candidate's position on a dog park.
ReplyDeleteIn a democracy the residents get precisely the government they deserve.
Again, just look (if you can) at what the city pays FORMER council people and it's FOR LIFE!!
