This Sunday I've spent just a bit of time contemplating a shared mortality betwixt rich and poor alike. Maybe Mr. Kemper wasn't so different from Kansas City working-class denizens who also struggle with family drama and offspring who'll never live up to the legacy of their ancestors.
And after thinking about it for quite awhile (on the toilet) . . . I'm still not mourning this Kansas City legend who died with a wallet slightly heavier than God's . . . No matter how many local politicos kiss the ring on his cold, dead hands.

ReplyDeleteI'll say it again and again. Crosby was a man, not like other men maybe, but just a man. His value to Kansas City is incalculable and he will be sorely missed for many, many years.

ReplyDeleteThe more I see that godawful logo, the more it grates on me. Why is it CK instead of KC? English reads right to left. The C comes first in that logo. I bet right now, that logo is being brutally panned in PR and design classes at universities the world over.
