Moreover, an AWESOME TKC TIPSTER describes a recent ruckus that not only offers a glimpse at ongoing trouble inside schools but also insists that parents need better access to information.

"Students (at Paseo High School) are protesting because a student was suspended for defending himself in a fight AGAINST A JANITOR. Apparently this student threw a piece of paper on the floor and the adult janitor attacked and beat him for refusing to pick it up. I talked to other students and this happened in the cafeteria during lunch time in full view of students and administration.
I am concerned that, as a parent, I did not receive any kind of notice that an incident of this nature took place at the school. This student is not an angel. Here are pictures (TKC NOTE: Pix Omitted Due To Student Status) of him flashing gang signs and smoking marijuana in the school! Still, why do incidents of this nature take place in KCMSD schools and parents are NOT notified? We have a right to know."

Every child in the KCMO School District NEED to be re-tested to take advantage of the "Free Education" afforded to them in KCMO. Free Education is a GIFT, not an obligation. It is my evaluation that everyone have forgotten that we are "somewhat" coming out of the "get high" era. EVERYBODY got high. Those same folks had children (who got high in the womb). Those parents - a great many of them "still" get high. Their seeds are MENTALLY deficient. The public schools did not help matters when they suspended classes like (manners-social skills functioning) even shop. The children of today do not have social skills and lack respect for their elders. WE HAVE TO MAKE THEM RE-LEARN THESE SKILLS. We have to provide alternative schools for the children who lack these skills. Wave the alternative school over their heads and provide mental health associates in every school to observe - bet that changes their minds!
