Union Station in Kansas City highlights a couple of lame exhibits this month and the rest of the populace pretends to understand the weirdness of St. Patrick's Day. All of this is highlighted by "Kansas City's Front Porch" covered in cool green glow.

I guess the place kinda looks like "Emerald City" only a lot more empty and with a great deal more taxpayer subsidy.

Still, most of Kansas City has stopped asking serious questions about the finances of this building because it's now mostly glorified office space and it can't support itself.

But it looks cool and that's the point.
Anyhoo . . . I liked taking these pix and just wanted to share them.
Hopefully, we'll have more BREAKING/EXCLUSIVE NEWS, debate, discourse, way more than our fair share of hateration and all kinds of good stuff in just a few . . . STAY TUNED!!!
Union Station is good. It draws millions of tourists from around the world to Kansas City. It has an economic impact of over $200.000,000.00 per year to the local economy. Niggers that visit stop killing, get jobs and become responsible parents and citizens. Mexicans that visit learn to speak English and trade their low riders in for Subaru Legacy's.
ReplyDeleteWow. Lots of idiots in kc. Starting with you Tony: King of the nerds.
ReplyDeleteFeed the ATM a kitty.
ReplyDelete"the weirdness of St. Patrick's Day"
ReplyDeleteCan you elaborate more on that? It is a cultural holiday for Irish, like Kwanzaa for other Americans. Why so insensitive to other cultures?
Why does everything have to make money? It's a glorified museum.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I do love it when people try to claim Union Station is in the black.
Did we really pay for some guy to dick around for two days chancing light colors?
ReplyDeleteMoney green because that is all that matters to KC's politicians. If you have money you matter if you don't you don't.
