KANSAS CITY CHIEFS STAY WINNING AGAINST OLD SCHOOL EMPLOYEES!!!

Finally, an important victory under pressure for The Kansas City Chiefs. Sadly, it didn't happen on the football field.

Check it:

Fox4: A jury decided Wednesday afternoon that the Kansas City Chiefs did not discriminate against a former employee because of his age.

KC Biz Journal: The team successfully defended the suit from Steve Cox, a former maintenance manager who was terminated in 2010 after giving an employee an unapproved raise. Tony Romano and Eric Packel of Polsinelli Shughart PC represented the Chiefs.

  1. Jurors sided with the payoff money from the Chiefs organization, once again proving that "justice" only applies to the rich.

  2. I was an alternate juror on this case. The only "payoff" we got was $6 a day jury pay + paltry mileage. Show some respect ... some of the jurors went nearly a month without a paycheck to complete their civic duty. In a court of law, the only "truth" is what you can prove, and at least in this case, the public heard more information than the jury did. Mr. Cox struck me as a very nice, extremely honest, and tirelessly hardworking man. The people who fired him might well be jerks, but it's not illegal to be a jerk.

  5. Mr. Cox was robbed.

Petition for a new trial, and request trial be moved outside of KC-metro area.

  6. At least they didn't trade him to Detroit, but it has got to suck when you are older and get fired over a lame ass $2.00 an hour raise. Hell, thats about a pimple on a dinosaurs ass compared to how many millions the organization has thrown at crap players in recent years.
