  4. This is unfortunate. I hope they have a speedy recovery and heal up 100%.

  5. Their car was parked. Perhaps if they were directing traffic instead of sitting in an unmarked Crown Vic . . .

But . . . lets have a pitty party for two officers too lazy to do what is necessary to block a crime scene.

  6. Ya out directing traffic so they can get hit. Unmarked crown Vic huh, don't think so. Another fine example of someone who can do the job better. You're an idiot!

  7. Take a look at the picture on the media websites, moron. The Crown Vic is not marked.

Standing outside the car (I know, in the cold, harder to Facebook) and paying attention to the traffic allows one to simply step out of the way for the oncoming vehicle. Who knows? Perhaps the traffic vest could have caught the driver's attention.

Look at the picture and see if you can figure out the position of the police car prior to impact. Of course, you have to have some time on the job to possess that kind of wisdom.

Go ahead....tell us just how much time you have on. Nothing like a police officer with some time on the job.....one year at a time.

  8. Nobody is going to stand outside their vehicle the nine hours crime scene was on scene. Ya the driver would have seen someone with a traffic vest on better then a full size crown vic with the code lights running. Oh maybe the officer could have fired his gun in the air to warn the other driver....you know..like they do in the movies. Oh I'm sure the retarded new decals we have now put on the side doors would have made all the difference in a rear end accident. Any officer worth a damn in his or her job knows that in the event of a rear ended accident the striking vehicle is at fault.
Officers drive and use only what is given to them, you should know that salty dog. The at fault driver was looking at his gps prior to the accident. Let traffic officers do traffic and we'll let you commander your wagon in peace.
