GREAT PLAINS SPCA ADVERTS ANTHROPOMORPHIZE ANIMAL SEX!!!

An important word that's often neglected among Kansas City animal lovers:

Anthropomorphize: To attribute human form or personality to things not human.

And so . . .

TAKE A LOOK AT THE EXPLANATION OF RECENT GREAT PLAINS SPCA ADVERTS WHICH EQUATE ANIMAL BEHAVIOR WITH HUMAN SEXUALITY!!!

It's a nice marketing trick that serves to further confuse Kansas City pet owners.

Great Plains SPCA-Dirty Laundry :30 Second TV Spot

Even more explanation from the agency of record . . . Meers:

New Creative for Great Plains SPCA

"This is the first major campaign since the launch of Great Plains SPCA’s new name. The nonprofit, no kill animal shelter formerly known as Heartland SPCA is taking this opportunity to build awareness and educate consumers of its program and services.

"The integrated campaign includes television commercials, print advertisements, online and guerilla marketing. The first TV commercial, called “Dirty Laundry,” takes a fairly common occurrence for pet owners, humping, and creates an educational opportunity about spay/neuter services and Great Plains SPCA."

OR . . .

Maybe it's just a bit of corporate advertising reinforcing the myth that humans and animals simply represent a different marketing niche. Sadly, we found this link via KCTV5 which pretty much ran the presser copy with no questions asked and probably out of instinct.

  1. "Anthropomorphize", it's exactly what we do with NIGGERS. Treat them as if they were human....Same result too.

  3. What's wrong with fucking a dog? They like it and you don't have to buy them a fucking martini beforehand and you don't have to worry about knocking them up.
