Tivol Love Story And Celebrating Kansas City Diamonds For Your Future Ex-Wife!!!
Here @ TKC we DESPISE sentimentality but realize that so many feeble constructs concocted by the human mind still serve to power the economy.
And so here's a look at the new ad campaign from Kansas City's Tivol Jewelry:
TIVOL - The Proposal
Marriage isn't on TKC's dance card because women tend NOT to want to spend much time in my (mom's) basement but this campaign is focused on more successful and lovelorn souls: "This is our first love story to be featured in our Two Stores, A Thousand Stories campaign," says the Tivol youtube page.
It's kinda sweet and totally makes me forget that MOST new marriages by po'folk end in divorce nowadays AND overall fewer people are deciding to get married at all - A clear signal that American consumerism and The Great Recession is taking a mostly unseen toll on the long suffering American Family. Still, if I was gonna by a diamond for some broad with low standards, I guess I'd want to buy local.
But I digress . . . While most of KC is asleep or hooking up with kindly strangers at this hour, the clip provides a nice look at a romantic ideal that's pretty much an unattainable but still beautiful dream nonetheless.
More later . . .
