They can't use 'degrading of women' or deliberating offensive to women as a legal justification, so they tried to have it labeled 'obscene'. It speaks volumes about the way its creator views women. It should not be in a public park for children to see. That should be self-evident.

ReplyDeleteIn Galleria dell'Accademia, Florence is the masterpiece statue of David. This statue is probably the most public seen statue in the world.
It's also a statue that no doubt shows a naked guy with a dick hanging there. Oh by the way a copy of the statue in bronze is in Buffalo, New York and is on display in Deleware Park. Oh wait are you aware as well another one is in Pennsylvania and intented for students is a scale replica of David as well. Yes kids all over have seen this statue of David with his dick hanging there.

This is not an honest depiction of a woman's body. It is not art. It is deliberately offense for offense's sake.
