Kansas City Star Editorial: "Response times are worse in 2012 than they have been at any time since the Fire Department took over the ambulances in early 2010."

  1. Yes, but by now we should be closing in on saving the first million dollars as promised. Right?

  2. It's no shock at all. Everyone understood that Council didn't know what they were doing.

  3. Speaking of not knowing what they're doing, how is the streetcar project coming?
Plenty of money and lots of time being spent by the council on that.

  4. It is not that the dispatchers are taking longer it is a combination of not having enough ambulances on street and the ambulances they do have are all running 15-20 calls (except northland ) and the most of he responses to calls are going from 10-15 minutes from the time the ambulances get the calls.... And FYI mast gave city response times that were broken into city areas..... 4 districts to be precise..... Lets see what spin KCFD puts on this one!

  5. Did we get that EMT director yet?

  8. There's to many freaking cars and to much traffic to dodge now of course response times are slow. When your on a call and people won't even pull over to let you pass or there's no where to pull over what the hell one expect?

  9. How many Berardi's have worked for the fire department/MAST? Has anyone ever noticed how many family connections there are with KCFD employees and how few minorities work for the department?

  10. Minorities of course that's the awnser they'll make a department better!! You fucking idiot they can't pass an entrance exam and you expect them to make a department better?
